Rapidly grow our F&B merchant base across UAE and the wider GCC
Build and maintain a scalable, high-conversion sales pipeline
Develop and close strategic partnerships that unlock new acquisition channels
Position Fortis as a leading POS and business platform in the F&B space
Drive sustained merchant activation, retention, and revenue contribution
Own GTM plan in F&B industry
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer and market insights to R&D team to ensure consistent product improvements
Ensure GTM velocity by orchestrating launches, sales enablement, and channel-specific execution across segments
Role Structure
1. Sales & Market Expansion
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
Acquire and onboard restaurants, cafés, catering businesses, and small F&B chains
Build early client success stories to fuel credibility and future growth
Develop and manage partnerships with POS vendors, local suppliers, aggregators, and associations
Represent the company at F&B industry events and within the business community
Build and maintain an active, qualified sales pipeline and provide regular performance reporting
Sales KPIs:
Number of merchants signed
Monthly growth of active client base, ARPU growth
Revenue generated from F&B clients
Lead quality and volume from partnerships
Client retention and activity rate
2. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy
Define F&B messaging, value proposition, and positioning
Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform strategy
Lead go-to-market planning across customer segments and acquisition channels
Collect merchant and market feedback to support Product and Growth teams
Evaluate and optimize go-to-market performance across channels
Product Marketing KPIs:
Go-to-market velocity and adoption rates
Win/loss insights and conversion optimization
Merchant satisfaction, feedback, and retention
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven track record of acquiring and managing F&B clients in the UAE or GCC
4–6 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, or Product Operations within SaaS, FinTech, POS, or restaurant tech
Deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality ecosystem, familiarity with GCC SME markets and the restaurant tech ecosystem
Hands-on experience building and scaling acquisition pipelines and GTM strategies
Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect business impact with metrics
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
