Fortis is expanding its SME Financial Services offering and seeking a Head of Banking Products to build, launch and scale our full suite of SME banking solutions. This is a business leadership role with ownership over P&L, commercial strategy, banking partnerships and market expansion across selected MENA markets.
You will define the strategy, economics and execution model for our SME Banking Products portfolio — spanning accounts, cards, spend management, cash management and embedded credit — ensuring they deliver clear, repeatable value to SME merchants.
What You’ll Do
Own and scale the SME Banking Products portfolio, including full P&L responsibility across revenue, margins, unit economics and investment planning.
Define the multi-year vision and roadmap for SME financial products: accounts & wallets, corporate/expense cards, spend controls, cash management, reconciliation flows, credit lines and value-added financial services.
Identify unmet financial needs of SMEs and translate them into high-impact, scalable banking propositions with clear commercial outcomes.
Architect the commercial, operational and partner-bank models supporting product delivery (account issuing, card issuing, lending, compliance frameworks).
Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy, including proposition design, pricing models, partner enablement, distribution channels, and onboarding funnels.
Build robust and compliant product economics, ensuring clarity on revenue models, cost drivers and sustainable contribution margins.
Develop business cases, investment approaches and launch plans for new SME financial products and regional expansions.
Partner closely with Product, Growth, Sales and Customer Success to drive merchant adoption, activation and retention.
Lead expansion into selected MENA markets based on product readiness, banking partner availability and market economics.
Continuously evaluate SME banking trends, competitor offerings and regulatory shifts to inform strategy and prioritization.
